An exhibition on Vietnam-Russia Handicrafts was opened yesterday in Hanoi. Organisers were the Russian Centre for Science and Culture and Vietnam ARTEXPORT Company.

On display are traditional handicraft of Vietnam and Russia including carved wooden products, rattan and bamboo products, lacquer, amongst others.

Present at the opening ceremony were representatives of relevant central and Hanoi agencies, the press, deputy director of the Russian Centre for International Co-oreation on Science and Culture and representatives of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in China, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia and Mongolia.

This is a cultural exchange activity designed to promote bilateral co-operation, solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Russia.
